About this retreat
Every day we remember the extraordinary kindness of Venerable Geshe-la, our Root Guru and Founder of the New Kadampa Tradition.
But on the auspicious day June 4, at Kadampa centres around the world, with minds of rejoicing and gratitude, we offer him our faith through using the special prayer Request to the Holy Spiritual Guide Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso from his Faithful Disciples and collecting our Guru’s name mantra in a one-day retreat.
Everyone is welcome to take part.

Session 1: 10 – 11.30am
Session 2: 12.15 – 1.30pm
Session 3: 2.45 – 4pm
For those who wish, there will also be Offering to the Spiritual Guide prayers in celebration of Buddha’s Turning the Wheel of Dharma Day, from 5-7pm.

Gen Kelsang Cho is our acting principal teacher and is also the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre in Rome. He has been practising for over 20 years under the guidance of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. His clear and joyful teachings are an inspiration to all.
