The purpose of meditation is to make the mind calm and peaceful. If our mind is peaceful we will be free from worries and mental discomfort, and so we will experience true happiness.
Kadampa Meditation Centre (KMC) Glasgow was established to provide people in Glasgow and the surrounding areas with the opportunity to learn how to meditate and practice Buddha’s teachings. To fulfil this aim we opened our new city temple in 2013, a peaceful sanctuary in the heart of Glasgow’s Merchant City.

The more confident we are, the more energy we will have. This is particularly important in relation to our spiritual activities such as meditation and training our mind. We will be able to stop identifying with our negativities and instead relate to our capacity to change.
