Growing Through Adversity | Mar 14, 21, 28 ~ Finding peace in difficult times

What is our response to the suffering and cruelty we see all around us in our world? Discouragement, fear, grief, rage …? When we find ourselves caught up in painful, overwhelming minds is there anything that we can do? Yes!

In this course, Katharine Jenkins will explain and guide meditations on the astonishing practice known as ‘transforming adverse conditions into the path’. This is the practice we all need right now. Through this training, rather than feeling discouraged by all the problems and pain we see around us, and within us, we discover a capacity to turn that negativity on its head, and to actually use it to empower our mind. The result is that instead of feeling stuck and helpless, we experience an inner ability to transform suffering into powerful, positive states of mind, such as love, compassion and joy. This power enables us to not only grow spiritually, but also to exude a powerful positive influence on our world.

The Inner Warrior | Feb 15, 22, 29, Mar 7

Connect with your own potential for inner resilience and unshakeable happiness, no matter what happens around you. Be empowered to rise above negative habits of mind and learn how to overcome them with proven meditation techniques that enable us to develop attitudes that support inner peace.

Buddhist meditation teaches us how to find pure happiness, whatever our circumstances, by creating space and freedom in our mind. We will begin to see how true happiness is possible by freeing ourself from the limitations and bad mental habits that afflict our mind.
