Love is possibly the most talked about feeling the world over… Poems are written, songs are sung, movies are made, but do we understand what real love is?

In this three week course, we shall hear Buddha’s teaching on three types of love which bring happiness that is lasting and beautiful. Affectionate love, cherishing love and wishing love. One naturally leads to the other. Looking at these three types of love and how we can bring them into our lives will help us open our hearts and recognise that it’s quite true what the song says, “All we need is love”. This is the real path to happiness and joy.

Who are these classes for?

Our meditation classes are for everyone who is interested in learning how to meditate, regardless of background or belief. They are designed to give a broad introduction to Buddhist meditation, teachings, and practice. Everyone is invited to use whichever aspects of the teachings they find helpful and to not worry about the rest!

What will I gain from these classes?

The classes will allow you to unwind your mind and return home relaxed and refreshed. They will provide you with new tools for dealing with stress, anxiety, and problems. They will also help you to overcome negative states of mind such as anger and jealousy, and to cultivate positive minds such as patience and love.
