We all want to feel good about ourselves. Yet too often our sense of worth depends on external achievement, approval and appearance. Let’s be honest, how we are viewed by others has more persuasive power on our own self confidence than we would like to admit. Life teaches us that we cannot always avoid undeserved criticism or channel our own success. Not everyone ‘gets’ us or is willing to try. Unable to change these unwanted experiences we can be left questioning our own value and self worth.
During this illuminating talk, guest teacher Gen Kelsang Dornying will explore how it is possible to generate and then remain anchored in strong, resilient and fearless states of mind. Drawing on Buddha’s wisdom advice, Gen Dornying will reveal easy and practical methods that reinstate our sense of confidence and which bring the power of our good qualities to the fore.
Everybody welcome!
