Learn to Meditate

Saturday 11th April, 10am – 1pm

Information

The purpose of meditation is to make our mind calm and peaceful. If we practise meditation we will experience a calm, spacious feeling in the mind and much of our usual problems will fall away. We will experience less stress, worry, and anxiety, as well as reduced irritation, anger and frustration.

On this course there will be two sessions of teachings and guided meditations covering the how, when and why of meditation. Get yourself set up to maintain a regular meditation practice with this practical advice. A perfect introduction or refresher!

Everyone is welcome.

Teacher

Kelsang Gakyi studies on our Foundation Programme and has been ordained as a Buddhist nun for many years. She shares her wealth of meditative experience with joy and clarity, and explains how to apply Buddha’s teachings practically to daily life.
