The Power of the Mind
May 7, 14, 21
with Resident Teacher
Gen Kelsang Tubchen
About this course
A new series is starting in May with our Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Tubchen, based on the extraordinary book – How to Understand the Mind.
What is the mind & how does it work? Where do negative minds come from? How can we improve our concentration and other peaceful minds? What is an enlightened mind? Gain an insight into the answers to these questions, and many more, all while learning to meditate on the deeper, blissful pure nature of your mind.
Since there is a profound connection between our mind and our world, when you improve the quality of your mind, your life and world will also improve for the better.
In this way through understanding, learning to control and transforming your mind, you can be empowered to create a life of happiness, confidence and wisdom.
These Tuesday evening courses are our main regular class with our Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Tubchen, and include two guided meditations, a short talk on a different topic each week and time for any questions.
