The Power of Love Retreat
10 – 12 September
with Gen Kelsang Drolkyi
The perfect island getaway – suitable for beginners
Join us for our first ever retreat on the Isle of Arran, a short journey from Glasgow.
Set in stunning scenery, as soon as you step on the boat you can begin to relax and unwind.
About the Retreat
Everyone wants to be happy and to have good relationships with others and the best way to fulfil these wishes is to train in loving kindness. We all have some experience of love, but we may not realise how easy it is to cultivate and grow pure love in our hearts through meditation.
During this retreat we will be guided to develop authentic and powerful love for others in meditation.
Between meditations you can enjoy walking in the hills or by the shore, taking in the views as you continue your contemplations.
Then you can return home refreshed, recharged and with new methods to solve your daily problems, improve your relationships and find inner peace.

Schedule and travel
The retreat starts with the evening meal and an introduction at 8.30pm on Friday and finishes with lunch on Sunday.
For those using public transport there is a bus that meets the ferry to Lamlash Hospital bus stop.
BOOKING YOUR FERRY
If you plan to bring your car across on the ferry then you will need to book your ferry journey in advance which you can do via www.calmac.co.uk
We will email you at the start of 2021 with recommended ferry crossing times as the Summer Schedule should be released by then.
If you plan to come across without a vehicle then there is no need to book your ferry in advance you would just turn up and pay for your ferry ticket on the day.
The retreat finishes at lunchtime on the Sunday. We plan to organise a group walk on the Sunday afternoon so if you like the sound of this and don’t need to get back early then we recommend catching the later ferry back on the Sunday evening.
