The Heart of A Spiritual Life
Je Tsongkhapa Empowerment & Teachings on Heart Jewel
With Gen Kelsang Drolkyi
Sunday 6 November
About this event
Heart Jewel is a special practice for developing compassion, wisdom, and spiritual strength by relying on the Wisdom Buddha Je Tsongkhapa, and for overcoming obstacles and difficulties on the spiritual path by relying on his Dharma Protector Dorje Shugden.
By relying on Heart Jewel as their daily prayers practitioners are able to progress joyfully and comfortably in their spiritual life. It is a very essential practice for gaining spiritual realisations.
This course will give us what we need to enable us to adopt Heart Jewel as our daily practice. We will receive the blessing empowerment of Je Tsongkhapa followed by teachings on Heart Jewel Prayers and how to combine these with a daily meditation.
For those who wish there will be a guided retreat, Closer to Buddha Retreat on Sunday 13th November, giving people the opportunity to gain experience of this practice.
An empowerment is a guided tantric meditation that harnesses wisdom, imagination and the power of enlightened beings to take us to pure worlds and pure experiences. It also awakens our potential for powerful spiritual experiences and realisations.
