About this course

Our self confidence can feel very fragile in a world where pressure is on us to always perform well, get it right, look good and balance work and home life to a standard that is just too much for most of us! We can easily feel overwhelmed and our self esteem takes quite a battering. But it doesn’t have to be that way.

Buddha’s teachings remind us of our many good qualities. We are beings with immense capacity to feel love, compassion and kindness. All of which open our hearts to see our true potential and bring a confidence that we really can live a fulfilled and meaningful life.

Something as simple as kind thoughts and actions shows us just how wonderful we can be and restores our confidence in living a good and happy life. It is a magical way of bringing out the best in ourselves and others.

Sue is a retired school teacher who has been sincerely practising Kadampa Buddhism for many years. She teaches with a gentle precision and presents the teachings and meditations in a way that is accessible to her listeners and practically applicable to their lives.
