Reflections on Mahamudra

Insights from the Summer Festival

Sunday 21 August In Person

Monday 22 August Online

With Gen Kelsang Drolkyi

About this course

On this course, Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Drolkyi will share insights from the teachings of this year’s Summer Festival, a special transmission of the Mahamudra commentary Clear Light of Bliss by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.

Modern Emanation scripture
Clear Light of Bliss
is a remarkable book that explains with exceptional clarity how through training in Mahamudra practices we can transform our very subtle mind into the clear light of bliss, the actual quick path to enlightenment.

It is a unique book the likes of which cannot be found anywhere, even amongst traditional Buddhist scriptures. It includes the uncommon Mahamudra instructions that come from Je Tsongkhapa, with an additional explanation of other practices such as tummo meditation, which was Milarepa’s main practice.

As Venerable Geshe-la himself says, ‘For me this book is a Ganden Emanation Scripture.’

Everyone is welcome!
