3 – 5 January
with Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Tubchen
About this Retreat
Join us for three whole days of peace … a wonderful way to start the year!
By taking the time out for reflection, contemplation and meditation we can gain special knowledge about our self, our mind, and our life. This wisdom will bring clarity about how we live and bring a true peace, happiness, and fulfillment into our daily lives.
The retreat will focus on meditations from Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche’s latest book, The Mirror of Dharma and will centre around the Three Principal Aspects of the Path to Enlightenment. This book reveals a series of heartfelt meditations taught by Buddha that awaken our loving kindness, compassion, and wisdom, and enable us to reach our full spiritual potential. Steeped in Buddhist wisdom and arising from Venerable Geshe-la’s deep personal experience in retreat, these meditations are perfectly suited to modern life – helping us to build a foundation of inner strength within our busy & often stressful lives.
This retreat is open to everyone and is ideal for those looking for an inspiring, enjoyable, and practical explanation to Buddhist meditation and philosophy and for those wishing to deepen their experience on the spiritual path. The retreats include practical instructions, guided meditations, special preparatory practices In between sessions there is time to rest and relax in the peaceful meditation space.
