About this course
All day we have so many thoughts crowding our mind and we have such strong familiarity with busy minds that even when we try to meditate it is hard to let go of these thoughts and be peaceful.
This course challenges us to think how we can keep a peaceful and calm mind throughout the day no matter what is happening around us. We will learn to rely on the practices of mindfulness and alertness to guard and protect our mind so that disturbing thoughts cannot arise.
By controlling our mind in this way, we will find it much easier to meditate because we have developed familiarity with having a peaceful and relaxed mind. Then we will be able to make progress towards experiencing the deep calm and stillness that we long for.
