About the Event
Join special guest teacher and Buddhist monk, Gen Kelsang Gomchen for an inspiring public talk at the Trades Hall in Glasgow.
Even if your life is very busy with little free time, you can learn how to let go of stress, distractions, and unwanted thoughts and discover how a little bit of meditation can go a long way!
From his wealth of knowledge and experience, Gen Gomchen will reveal how through simple meditation you can transform your life, find inner peace in the midst of busy modern life and heal difficult relationships with others.
Buddhist monk Gen Gomchen is a popular and engaging speaker and will present the timeless wisdom of Buddha’s meditation instructions in a way that is relevant, easy to understand and directly applicable to our life. During the evening he will also explain and guide a simple meditation that anyone can learn to do.
After the event you are invited to our Meditation Centre across the road for delicious complementary vegetarian canapes and non alcoholic drinks.

About the Teacher
Gen Kelsang Gomchen is a Buddhist monk and the resident teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre London. He inspires others through his sincere practice and his ability to present the deeper meanings of Buddha’s teachings in a way that is practical and relevant to all who listen.
Gen Gomchen previously taught extensively in Scotland and we are delighted to welcome him back for this special public event.
