About this course

Just as it is wise to maintain physical health, we all need to attend to our mental health. With good mental health we can cope with the challenges life poses, and grow into our potential, whilst poor mental health takes away our joy and fortitude.

Over recent years, ancient meditation techniques have become mainstream in society, and it is widely accepted as an important tool in maintaining and improving good mental health. In this course we will discuss what mental health and meditation are, where our happiness and problems come from, learn simple meditation techniques, and consider how meditation can help us unlock our potential.

Originally from Ireland, Arthur has been studying Buddhism and practising meditation for many years. Drawing on his experience as a doctor and father, his teachings are humorous, engaging and always practical for our daily lives.
