About these classes
We all want to be happy and happiness is within our reach but it is a consequence of how we think and behave. We can find happiness only if we make an effort to do so. This course explains how to identify the minds that will make us happy and how to develop and strengthen these minds in meditation and daily life. Once we understand and master these will be able to protect ourselves from suffering and find genuine peace and joy.
The course is based on How to Understand the Mind, a practical guide that offers deep insights into the nature and functions of the mind. It explains how to develop and maintain a light and positive mind through recognising and abandoning states of mind that harm us, and replacing them with peaceful and beneficial ones.

About the teacher
Gen Kelsang Drolkyi is the Resident Teacher at KMC Glasgow and a senior teacher in the New Kadampa Tradition. With 30 years of experience including 27 years of ordination, she has inspired people worldwide through her knowledge, skill and loving example.
