About this retreat
Imagine a day all to yourself to be at peace and engage in healing meditations. We all deserve this from time to time, to give ourselves the experience of how peaceful our mind can be. These extraordinary meditations, taken from the mind training teachings, combine developing compassion with visualisation and give us special power of mind to purify our own and others suffering.
We are delighted to welcome Gen Devi to teach and guide this special event. Gen Devi is the resident teacher at Kailash International Retreat Centre and Kadampa Meditation Centre Switzerland. Originally from Glasgow, Gen Devi is a senior teacher of the New Kadampa Tradition and was our first resident teacher at KMC Glasgow. She is well known for her joyful warmth and humour, as well as her clear and practical presentation of the teachings. She is an inspiring example of modern Buddhism in practice and is dedicated to helping everyone discover Buddha’s timeless wisdom and find real, lasting happiness.
