Finding Focus- The Art of Concentration | Jan 26
January 26 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
About this course
Nowadays we have so many distractions that it is rare to enjoy even a few moments of peace. Buddhist nun, Gen Kelsang Tubchen, will explain how to systematically develop concentration through meditation. Through deepening our concentration we increase the power of our mind, our energy, our ability to fulfil our wishes and our inner peace.
Without concentration it is easy to feel fragmented and distracted and it becomes difficult to fulfil our wishes and ambitions. By learning how to identify and overcome obstacles to concentration and meditation, you will increase both your confidence and your concentration. Discover a practical manual to your mind and learn how to absorb deeply in meditation.
This one day course is a good introduction for the five day silent Stillness Within retreat. On the retreat we will have the opportunity to put the instructions into practice, deepen our concentration and taste the bliss of suppleness.
Everyone is welcome!
