Death & Dying, A Buddhist Perspective

Saturday 16 October In Person

Sunday 17 October Online

With Gen Kelsang Drolkyi

About this course

We are alive, therefore we will die. This is the simplest, most obvious truth of our existence, yet very few of us have really come to terms with this and usually we avoid thinking about it at all!

However cultivating a realistic awareness of death can liberate us from many of our daily problems as well as giving us an understanding of how to prepare both for our own death and the death of our loved ones.

On this course we will look at some of Buddha’s extensive teachings on the death process, how to use this wisdom to help those who are dying, and how to live a more fulfilling and meaningful life ourself.
