Breaking Bad Habits

About this course

Our bad habits can cause us pain and suffering and can hurt those around us too. We can feel that it’s not possible to change but nothing could be further than the truth- we are in fact changing every moment.

Through Buddha’s teachings we can learn to understand how and why we create compulsive patterns of behaviour in the first place and consequently how we can let go of them. Through training in meditation we can gain the power to achieve peace of mind more and more of the time, creating the meaningful and joyful life that we actually seek.

The course is divided into two sessions which will include guided meditation and teaching, with a break for refreshments.

Originally from Ireland, Arthur has been studying Buddhism and practising meditation for many years. Drawing on his experience as a doctor and father, his teachings are humorous, engaging and always practical for our daily lives.
