Keeping Your Cool, Dealing with Stress

It’s not easy keeping it together when the pressure of parenting gets on top of us. When tots are challenging that’s exactly when we need to be able to keep our cool. Buddha’s teachings help us increase our ability to stay calm and wise. A peaceful mind finds the way.
About Parents & Tots Meditation Classes
Healthy families depend upon healthy parenting. To be a good parent involves juggling endless stresses and demands, keeping a healthy perspective, and being an effective role model for our children.
Our Parents and Tots class includes simple, practical and effective mindfulness and meditation methods perfect for busy parents and guardians that address the real-world challenges of parents in our busy world.
The class structure principally focuses on teaching adults, while children play with age-appropriate toys in the peaceful, inspiring setting of the temple. Families are welcome to stay after class for tea and chat.
No previous experience of mindfulness or meditation is necessary, and no special clothing is required–just come as you are.
This class is intended specifically for parents and guardians with children aged 0-4 years old; if you have a child 5-11 years old, please book to attend our Kids Club class on Sunday afternoons instead.
Please note although we have assistants to help with the class we cannot provide child care.
